Will Leer is originally from Minnesota.
Leer joined the OTC Elite in the fall of 2007 after graduating from
Pomona College. Leer has not missed the top five at the U.S.
Nationals in the last two years finishing 4th at the
Olympic Trials in 2008 and 5th at the 2009 U.S.
Championships. Leer ran his personal best of 3:37.37 in the summer
of 2009 which made him the 9th fastest American for the
year.
2010:
Leer ran the fastest Indoor Mile in the
U.S. in 2010. Leer’s 2nd place performance at the U.S.
Indoor Championships earned him his first spot on a National team.
Leer competed in the 1,500 meters at the World Indoor championships
in Doha, Qatar. Leer opened his outdoor season at the Penn Relays as
the lead-off leg for the USA White team in the Distance Medley Relay.
